An analyticalnumerical model based on first principles for representation of the motions of a submarine in the horizontal and in the vertical plane is presented. The model is implemented through computational algebra, being its parameters expressed as function of the main dimensions and form coefficients of the hull and its appendices, which enables its application since the conception stages of the vehicle design. The validity of the model is verified through the comparison between calculated and available trajectories of course change and dive.
