The International Workshop on Multi-Scale Methods in Computational Engineering will take place Thursday, December 9, to Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. The workshop is organized by the Graduate School of Computational Engineering at the TU Darmstadt. It provides a meeting place for researchers and practitioners working on computational methods for multi-scale problems in all disciplines of engineering and applied mathematics.
The aim of the workshop is to discuss the state of the art in this challenging field, develop promising perspectives for future research and initiate cooperations.
Areas of interest include, but are not restricted to:

  • Adaptive Methods
  • Advanced Numerical Techniques for Solving Computationally Large Problems
  • Time Domain Methods: Theory and Applications
  • Mathematical Aspects of Multi-Scale Problems
  • Hybrid Methods
  • Methods for Solving Coupled Multi-Physical Problems
  • Meshing Advances and Tools

Important dates:

  • Aug/31: Registration deadline
  • Sep/30: Abstract submission deadline
