The International Workshop on Multi-Scale Methods in Computational Engineering will take place Thursday, December 9, to Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. The workshop is organized by the Graduate School of Computational Engineering at the TU Darmstadt. It provides a meeting place for researchers and practitioners working on computational methods for multi-scale problems in all disciplines of engineering and applied mathematics.

The aim of the workshop is to discuss the state of the art in this challenging field, develop promising perspectives for future research and initiate cooperations.
Areas of interest include, but are not restricted to:

\begin{itemize}
\item Adaptive Methods
\item Advanced Numerical Techniques for Solving Computationally Large Problems
\item Time Domain Methods: Theory and Applications
\item Mathematical Aspects of Multi-Scale Problems
\item Hybrid Methods
\item Methods for Solving Coupled Multi-Physical Problems
\item Meshing Advances and Tools
\end{itemize}

Please limit your abstract to two pages.
